Order Sons and Daughters of Italy in America Scholarship Application

To be eligible for this scholarship, you MUST:
  1. Be a citizen of the United States of America
  2. Have Italian heritage
  3. Currently attend or have been accepted to The American University of Rome
If you do not meet this eligibility criteria, your application will not be considered for review.

To complete this form you will be required to upload:
  • One 500-750 word essay on the following prompt: 
A personal experience that demonstrated or generated pride in your Italian heritage
  • CV/Resume including a list of any community service or volunteer activities you taken part in
  • A Copy of your most recent transcript
  • SAT/ACT/GRE/GMAT scores (if available)
  • A personal recommendation from a current professor or teacher

Scholarship Stipulations
  • The Order Sons and Daughters of Italy in America (OSDIA) Scholarship totals $2,500 per semester
  • Funds awarded must be applied to tuition expenses
  • Scholarships are awarded for the academic year and will be allocated in equal parts between the Fall and Spring semesters
  • Students must maintain full-time status
  • The recipient will be chosen by the Order Sons and Daughters of Italy in America Committee. Assessment is made based on academic merit, essay response and community service/volunteerism
